Bottle Bell

by B. Urch

Did you ever wounder what to do with oxygen, co2, argon, tri-mix etc. bottles that no one will take back or exchange for full ones. Well I had a co2 bottle like that so I cut the first 8" off the top welded a chain, to hang it up as well as to hang a peice of 3/8" plate slug to use it as a hammer then continued the chain down out side of bell to use as a handle to ring the bell..This makes a nice rich deep sounding bell. This is another idea for alternative recycling...

What did you use to make the pattern on your bell? Looks very nice.
