Safety Cage fro Skid Steer

Project Description

This a 2'x 4' cage fabricated from scratch that inclueds a door that only opens in, and 1'kick plate screena around the base. It has mounts that attach to the forks and it is safety chained to skid steer. The forks are attached to a used Hyster front end.

Build Process

Cut and fabricated pieces to fit the width of the forks on a Hyster front end lift adapted to a New holland skid steer. Safety was the biggest issue as it will extend to 20'

Tools Used

used 1" square tubing for the frame/rails. used 3/16th flat steel for bottom. Used 5" channel for under mounts. Used 1/8" diamond mesh . All welded with my Miller Thunderbolt AC/DC.
