  • Project Description

I needed more space to haul more stuff so I came up with this rack that will hinge up to allow access to the bottom bed.

    Build Process

I used 1-1/4" thin wall sq. tube to make the frame. 3/8" round rod was used for the railing/ The hinges are actually fold down flag mounts for a sand rail. Then i used 3/4" expanded metal for the bottom. 3/4" pipe was used for the legs with pins that can be pulled out to let it hinge up.

    Tools Used

Millermatic 211 Auto-Set, air sander and drill, vise.
